YTC’s presence in Latin America began in Mexico, building a relationship of more than 20 years through computer donations, cultural exchanges, and, more recently, robotics and STEM education programs. This long-standing collaboration has created a strong foundation for expanding access to technology and fostering cross-cultural learning experiences for youth.

Mexico
In Mexico, YTC currently operates 8 active robotics programs in Estado de México, Aguascalientes, Durango, and San Luis Potosí. YTC works in partnership with local institutions such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, the COBAED system in Durango, and Universidad Tecnológica del Mezquital.

Through these collaborations, YTC delivers hands-on, peer-to-peer learning experiences that equip students with technical skills, confidence, and exposure to future opportunities in STEM.
YTC is also actively seeking to expand the growth of its programs across the country, and recently established its first international representation office in Mexico—marking the first of many as the organization continues to scale its impact.
Guatemala
YTC works in partnership with RIDES (Red Integral para el Desarrollo Regional) to expand access to STEM education for youth facing significant barriers to schooling.

In 2025, together with the Municipal Education Office of Quetzaltenango, RIDES delivered a five-week camp using YTC materials, introducing out-of-school youth to electronic circuits and Arduino programming. The program not only built foundational technical skills, but also focused on confidence and empowerment, helping participants see themselves as capable of learning, creating, and pursuing new opportunities in STEM.
