My project-1 (1)_edited_edited.jpg

Through our clubs, we create young LEADERS by offering real responsibility to youth by introducing STEM subjects authentically in order to help others.

Our Corps of prepared youth provide an affordable,
accessible template that can both:

Connect Communities Locally and Globally - (Computer Donations)

Educate Without Borders - (Peer-to-Peer, Synchronous Mentoring) turns students into teachers, strengthening our students' development of crucial skills and developing relationships with the next class of teachers.

We have proven it works in a few communities,  and have been shaping our model for nearly thirty tears, now YTC has the opportunity to play a role in the evolution of education.

Ava will be attending Purdue University for mechanical engineering.

"Serving as Co-President of YTC at ETHS has taught me about what it takes to be a quality leader. It has been rewarding working together with many different personalities on both robotics and computer refurbishment.

I feel that I have grown my skills on public speaking, collaboration, and organization. Not only has my knowledge about computer refurbishment and Arduinos improved, but also has the ability to teach others. YTC has shown me how much I enjoy being hands on and the importance of spreading my knowledge with others.

I can confidently say that this club has well prepared me for engineering in college and beyond."

Emma will be a freshman at DePaul University majoring in Cybersecurity.

"Youth Technology Corps was the pinnacle of my high school experience at ETHS. Being 1 of 2 Co-Presidents of YTC from 2021-2023, I have learned useful public speaking and leadership skills that have helped me immensely in my academic and career journey.

YTC gave me the resources and space I needed to discover my natural leadership traits and flourish as a role model for my fellow members. It also gave me an outlet to establish myself at the school and to share my vast knowledge of technology and computers to my community. Since it is an inclusive and welcoming environment, I felt at home when going to our club room every week, and loved committing my time and service to an amazing organization.

I met so many supportive mentors that expanded my career network further than I would have ever imagined. YTC was the best decision I ever made and I am confident that I will be successful in life because of it."

ANNUAL VIRTUAL ROBOTICS CAMP

Virtual Robotics
Free Summer Classes

Exciting News from YTC Robotics!

Youth Technology Corps is holding the 4th virtual robotics camp. Because we want to reach as many youngsters as possible, our FREE virtual robotics camp offers two sessions with NEW DATES.

The first session runs from July 5 to July 28, with classes at 10 AM, 12 PM, and an afternoon time to be determined based on preference. The second session is from July 21 to August 4, with the same class times.

The camp aims to provide education in robotics to students from diverse backgrounds. Robotics involves the design, construction, operation, and use of robots. The purpose of robotics is to create machines that can aid and help humans.

The Summer Robotics Camp is an annual initiative organized by YTC, and last year, we expanded  the camp to a national level, partnering with various organizations across the United States. We believe in providing equal educational opportunities to all students, irrespective of their financial situations. Therefore, the camp is offered free of charge to all participants. Our goal is to promote curiosity, exploration, and learning in the field of robotics.
