  • Titanium Tech Challenge 2019

    YTC Titanium Tech Competition was held this year on April 26th, 2019. Teens from five YTC clubs in the Chicagoland area, and our partner clubs from Durago, Mexico competed for prizes which included medals and a grand-prize of $500 to be used for the winning team's program. The 10th Titanium Tech Competition was hosted by Morton College in Cicero, IL.     Morton East High School students donated 15 refurbished computers to 15 deserving families living in Cicero, IL. The computers were donated by the town of Cicero and refurbished by YTC students.     Evanston High School students donated 8 laptops to the Collegio Luterano Salvadoreno School and Orphanage in San Salvador, El Salvador.   • Kayne Anderson Awards YTC Grant

    Kaye Anderson Capital Advisors Foundation awards YTC $20,000.00 for its continued work both in educating underserved youth in technology and robotics and helping others through donating the technology they refurbish to those in need. This is the second year the foundation has provided support to YTC. Ken Leonard, a Kayne Anderson Managing Partner, is on YTC's Advisory Committee and former YTC board member.   • Youth Tech Team Gives Back

    The Youth Technology Corps (YTC) annual summer camp July 22-27 brought students and mentors together for a week of team building, skills development, and community giving. Activiites included icebreakers, engineering problem solving, and working on Arduino's with the week wrapping up with a traitional native Peace Fire offering students an opportunity to share their story and reflect on what they learned.
