Equity & Empowerment for Evanston Families’ mission is to serve families of color in Evanston that have been marginalized by structural racism by providing access to parental resources while empowering their children through mentorship programs, academic supports, discovery opportunities and real world experiences.

On November 26th, the students from ETHS will be donating 25 computers to families in the programs of Equity 4 Evanston. It's understood that underserved families need support and advocacy to address the inequity and trauma built into so many urban communities
EDUCATES
In the new year, YTC students have been charged with introducing our slate of programs to the young Evanston students in the care of Equity 4 Evanston.
We will start with introducing our refurbishing based curriculum and ultimately invite Equity 4 Evanston to add our Peer to Peer "Introduction to Engineering" as part of their Summer Camp.
LEADS
With a shared mission of YTC students from ETHS will collaborate with students from Equity 4 Evanston to refurbish a new batch of computers that we can donate together to a deserving organization and tie us all together in a
continued focus on Education, Social Justice, and Leadership.
