Congratulations to Prosper Tornyi who has been selected for the 2022 Community Engagement Exchange (CEE) program in the United States. Prosper is the founder & Executive Director of Proswrites Foundation. He hopes the program will empower him to organize digital lab for youth, women and girls to strengthen their problem-solving skills, foster community engagement skills through digital literacy, mentorship and leadership training.

This program, sponsored by the U.S. government, equips emerging civil society leaders with the expertise, resources, and skills to support resilient communities around the world. It will among other things, strengthen participants’ ability to lead collaboratively and ethically, while addressing issues of public concern

Prosper leads YTC Connects Program

YTC Connects targets Evanston,  Haiti, and Mexico and joins the Proswrites Foundation in its mission to serve the people of Ghana.

Prosper has strengthened our YTC Clubs, increased our membership, and built a network of partnerships while he has been here. 

He will oversee our late November event to re-introduce our giving program that had gone virtual during the pandemic.

Named after the founder, Prosper Tornyi who believes that writing and more broadly education is a powerful tool to combat oppression. Proswrites Foundation is a community-centered, youth empowerment organization based in the North-Tongu District, Battor, Ghana. Using the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) outlined in the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda as a basis for its initiatives, the Proswrites Foundation launches projects focused on inspiring, equipping, and supporting youths and students to become doers and change-makers in their community.
